Overview: The Green Temple is a vegetarian restaurant with vegan, soy-free, and gluten-free options. I really enjoy the atmosphere. They do a great job at promoting a healthy lifestyle. The overall ambiance of the place is cozy and peaceful. With the buddhist inspired decorations along with a garden and fountain in the outdoor seating area, you’ll never want to leave this place!
Menu: The Green Temple is best known for its signature tofu sauce. This sauce is so creamy and flavorful. It’s truly amazing! The Babamut and the Savory Wrap are made with this sauce and both are very delicious. I’ve also tried the Hummus Wrap which is a little bland and the Tacos are good but next time I’ll request it with the tofu sauce. As for the rest of the menu, they have salads (all dressings are vegan), sandwiches, Mexican dishes, or you can customize your own bowl. Also, the Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pie is perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
Favorite Item: The Savory Wrap is my favorite so far. It’s a burrito filled with veggies, rice, and beans, smothered in that delicious tofu sauce.
Rating: Overall, this is a nice place to hang out with friends and family. I’ll definitely come back here if I’m around the area looking for healthier alternatives. Even though I do wish they had more vegan options to choose from, everything else is great. Quick service, friendly staff.
